Your Role:

As a Design Strategist, you will be at the forefront of our creative process, laying the conceptual groundwork that our talented design team will build upon. Your work will directly influence the experiences we create, ensuring they align with our clients’ business objectives and captivate their audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consulting: Partner with international clients from project inception through research, strategy, and concept development.
• Research: Conduct stakeholder interviews and market research, including brand audits, competitor analysis, industry analysis, target audience research, and trend analysis.
• Insight Presentation: Synthesize and present actionable insights to inform design decisions.
• Strategic Translation: Transform research insights into strategic and narrative approaches for space experience design interventions.
• Design Strategy Development: Articulate clear and persuasive design strategies that align with clients’ business objectives.
• Concept Creation: Develop compelling design concepts and stories that resonate with clients and target audiences.
• Communication: Convey design concepts through text and visuals, internally and externally.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and clients to refine and iterate on concepts.
• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance our workflow, analytics processes, and creative methods.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in conducting interviews, brand audits, industry analysis, and target audience research.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Proven ability to translate insights into compelling design concepts.
• Proficiency with presentation software such as Keynote and Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Exceptional visual and written communication skills.
• Strong English copywriting skills (proficiency in German, Arabic, or Chinese is a plus).

General Requirements:

• University degree in Strategic Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in design strategy.
• Holistic understanding of business models, brand, and design systems.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cultural trends in brand communication, exhibition design, technology innovations, and global social movements.
• Proficiency in English and good knowledge of German (additional languages, especially Arabic, or Chinese are a plus).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in preparing, leading, and evaluating strategic project workshops for international clients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
