We are looking for a skilled Construction Designer with a strong background in transforming conceptual designs into practical construction drawings and detailed plans. This role is crucial for ensuring our designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also feasible, cost-effective, and sustainable.

Your Role:
As a Construction Designer based in Shanghai, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless transition from conceptual design to construction readiness. Your responsibilities will encompass creating detailed design plans, selecting materials and processes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting quality control, communicating with clients, and supervising construction as needed.

Your Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Transform conceptual designs into construction drawings and detailed design plans, ensuring design feasibility and client expectations are met.
• Select appropriate building materials and processes that balance aesthetics, cost, and sustainability.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design consistency and resolve any implementation issues.
• Conduct comprehensive quality control of design plans to ensure accuracy and completeness, thereby minimizing construction phase issues.
• Maintain open communication with clients to understand their needs and adjust design plans accordingly.
• Assist in construction supervision, ensuring the build aligns with design standards and making necessary on-site adjustments.

Your Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture, interior design, or a related field.

Professional Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in deepening interior design, with a preference for candidates with successful project experience.

Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, complemented by excellent hand-drawing and presentation abilities.

Communication and Coordination:
Exceptional communication and coordination skills, able to engage effectively with team members and clients from diverse backgrounds.

Creative and Design Thinking:
Strong creative and design thinking capabilities, focusing on innovative yet feasible design solutions. Experience in interior design institutes is preferred.
